WEB & INTERACTIVE

Brand, Marketing & Web Design for High Tech Startup

As a hands-on Creative Director, I was able to shape and implement all aspects of MODE's visual language as we transitioned from the previous Waltz brand. Working with the VP of Marketing, we created a consistent, witty, and engaging brand for a product that had deep mathematical and engineering roots. MODE was ultimately acquired by VMWare in 2020.

Corporate Vendor/Partner Portal

Working as a consultant, I was tasked with creating an information-rich and user-friendly portal for professionals who used Citrix products in their day-to-day work. The project began with information architecture and wireframes, moved through design options, and resulted in an expansive and mobile-friendly site, built in Wordpress.

Brand Identity & Web Site for SaaS Company

When a colleague began to gain recognition for his expertise about SD-WAN and SaaS technologies, and was asked to speak at events, he needed a new brand, a professional web site and supporting documentation. The final product, designed and produced within a couple weeks, including branding, a hand-coded, responsive HTML site, and a downloadable PDF brochure.

Educational Whiteboard App

As Creative Director at ePP, I worked with educational publishing professionals to create a lesson for classroom interactive whiteboards. The work included original content created by my colleagues, which I transformed into an interactive lesson, complete with assessment questions and printable resources. The project also includes a detailed user guide for teachers. Originally published in whiteboard-native software, I also created an HTML5 version for easier sharing across platforms.

MOTION GRAPHICS
& VIDEO

Educational Resource for Parents

In addition to student- and teacher-focused tools, ePP also created support resources for parents. For this project, I was provided with a storyboard and voice-over, and created the visual elements and animations to make it come to life.

Corporate Presentation Intro

As a senior designer, and then IT Internal Communications Director at a Fortune 500 corporation, I created multiple presentations and collateral for the company's IT department events. To make the information as engaging as possible, I created multimedia introductions like this for many presentations.

Brand Evolution Reel

When the team at MODE decided to update the company's brand, they wanted to announce it at a company meeting, as a next step, building on recent successes. So I created this short, energetic video to introduce the new name, and parts of the look & feel.

PRESENTATIONS

Information Security Deck

This presentation for the Information Security department at a Fortune 500 company used dramatic sound and motion to communicate the breadth of threats that modern businesses face, and how to mitigate against them.

Corporate Comms Annual Review Deck

This presentation for an internal corporate communications department's annual review uses horizontal scroll and overlaid animations to walk viewers through a year of successful projects.

AI Concept Pitch

Provided with a rough script of the story my client planned to tell, and a request for a future-leaning aesthetic with crisp and bold visuals, I created this deck that was very well received by its target audience.

Technology Explainer Presentation

The challenge for this presentation was to create series of animations to visually represent theoretical concepts and challenges addressed by a new technology start-up, and show current progress that would be built upon as the company grew.

DIAGRAMS &
INFOGRAPHICS

Business Apps Infographic

As mobile applications for the workplace became the norm, Neumob wanted to quantify some observations through a survey of businesspeople in the US and UK. This infographic is based on the results of that study.

Company Overview Infographic

The goal of this infographic was to use a light, friendly look and feel to communicate a complex and highly technical story, to be accessible to non-technical audiences.

UCaaS Diagram

As Unified Communications became a common term, and corporations were moving to the "as a Service" model for more tools, MODE's technology had found a moment. This diagram describes how the process works, and where MODE provides the greatest value.

TRADITIONAL
PRINT COLLATERAL

High Tech Whitepaper

Working as a consultant, I helped Kmesh engineers and content producers to represent the details of their technology in an aesthetically pleasing and well-organized document.

Technology Brochure

Adapting the same content used to create the web site for SD-CORE (above), I also created a PDF brochure for download or printing.

Marketing Case Study

As a third-party consultant, I was tasked with creating a clean presentation for this case study about a pharmaceutical surplus company. The written content was provided, and my goal was to engage an audience who had hands-on lab experience and were familiar with the equipment.

Scientific Journal Article

Through a mutual connection, I was hired as a consultant to assist a local professor with a new look & feel for his scientific journal, and to complete a detailed layout of a sample article that would include treatments for images, figures, captions, etc.
